Out of our loss and grief this business was formed. After loosing my "light” and only brother in August of 2003 to a suicide we wanted a way to give back the "light" we had lost. The inspiration came from my mother who thought a candle would be a good way to say "Thank You!" to everyone who had helped us through. At that point, I couldn't stop at just one candle so I kept going, and now we have grown Dragonfly Candle into a sought after brand of candles. Over the years we have changed from just makeing a candle to producing one of Greenest and best hand poured candles on the market. We offer all natural Palm wax candles in many forms, Wicks N' Palm; an everyday candle with scents like Apple Pie, Vanilla and Mango Twist, Pure & Natural; an all GREEN therapeutic candle that is made with NO chemicals and pure essential oils offering the cleanest burning candle you can find with aromatherapy scents like Lavender Fields, Smudge, and Creativity, and our Simply Vermont line of candles that has fragrances to remind you of Vermont like, Fallen Snow, Fall Foliage and Pleasant Pine. In an effort to stay GREEN and keep an eye on our carbon foot print we do not waist any of the wax that is left over from batches. That wax gets turned into our Bits & Pieces line of candles.
